  • Knee pain – Having been unable to walk for any distance without considerable pain I am now able to demonstrate again in the ballet classes that I teach.

I first came to see Rishi 2 years ago. I had been experiencing knee pain for a few years and my doctor had referred me to a knee specialist who told me that apart from a bursa (swelling) underneath my knee cap, there was noting wrong. I had also been to a physiotherapist a few times but unfortunately the treatment didn’t really help.

Rishi immediately diagnosed the problem and gave me regular treatments to address it as well as exercises to build up weak muscles.  He also recommended that I take up pilates classes to help with the recovery. Having been unable to walk for any distance without considerable pain I am now able to demonstrate again in the ballet classes that I teach.

  • Back problems – Rishi is a consummate professional but very easy to get along with and I have found over the years that his knowledge of his trade is extremely impressive and I would recommend him to anybody.

I have used osteopathy for nearly 30 years.

I started using it because i developed a back problem  at a very early age, dueto the nature of my job.  I have seen many osteopaths over the years but my current one, Rishi Meetaroois the best yet.  From the first timei met him and had a consultation, he immediately made me feel at ease with his understanding nature.  Since then he has treated my back neck and shoulder many times.

He is a consummate professional but very easy to get along with and I have found over the years (over 7 now) that his knowledge of his trade is extremely impressive and I would recommend him to anybody.

  • Long term back sufferer – Rishi is an affable cheery chappy, who has restored both my faith in the medical profession and in myself.  I’m extremely happy with progress, and  if it means I can move and not end up under the knife then that’s good enough for me.  I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody.

As a long term back sufferer  (prolapsed disc (L4/L5) back in 2000), I could barely put my socks and need a least 30 minutes of quiet sitting before my back could face the day. Without realising I’d become adept at changing my life style to accommodate my lack of mobility.

I had been through the NHS and private physiotherapy route and really hadn’t made much joy on that front either.   Slowly I had resigned myself to a life time of pain and discomfort thinking no one could fix my problem.

The internet threw up several options but the one that struck a chord was co-located at my local surgery.  Having had lots of dealing with the practice, I knew that they would have done their research and appointed someone of good calibre and with the right qualifications.

Rishi was very upfront with me saying that he may not be unable to cure me ( as too much damage had occurred) but said he would certainly be able to help.  My back began to stabilise, the inflammation reduce and my flexibility returned.   I began to be able to do things I hadn’t done in a while. I could put my socks on, get down to do the weeding, have a good night sleep and not take quite so long to get going in the morning.    My energy levels increased and I could stand for longer without getting back ache. Happy days!

Rishi is an affable cheery chappy, who has restored both my faith in the medical profession and in myself.  I’m extremely happy with progress, and  if it means I can move and not end up under the knife then that’s good enough for me.  I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody.

Thanks Doc! J

  • Active sportswoman – His ‘hands on’ approach has not only relieved the aches and pains but also dealt with the general well-being of the whole body

An active sportswomen, playing competitively, and having an active career, the time came when one knee suffered wear & tear. For years I was treated with ultrasound which helped but as the years roll by more manipulative method of treatment is required not only on knees but back and associated areas. Going to the Drs would result in endless painkillers. RM became principle osteopath at the practice I had been attending and his ‘hands on’ approach has not only relieved the aches and pains but also dealt with the general well-being of the whole body thus enabling me to continue in a busy career and home life beyond an age when our parents had long since retired and were taking life ‘easy’.
